STRIVING TO CONSERVE NATURAL RESOURCES THROUGH EDUCATION AND PRACTICES
Once again the Rogers County Conservation District hosted the Science song and dance man for 4th graders from across northeastern Oklahoma. This year the event was held at the Claremore High School Football Stadium so that more students could be invited. Approximately 1300 students and 200 teachers, parents and sponsors attended the Earth Day Celebration. The celebration which included songs about the environment and conservation was sponsored by the City of Claremore, Claremore Public Schools, Tall grass RC&D, Walmart, Microtel and RCB and the CHS MASH club.
