Conservation Dedication
Thirty years of service. That’s a phrase that most people work to achieve so that they can retire. However, for George Fraley it doesn’t mean the end of job, but rather a milestone of volunteer time devoted to Rogers County Conservation District as a Board member. At the Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts state meeting in February, Mr. Fraley was presented with his thirty year service award. While thirty years is a big investment, Mr. Clyde Fraley, Georges’ father, served on the Rogers County Conservation District Board for thirty four years. With quick math that should let you know that there has always been a Fraley on the Rogers County Conservation District Board. The Fraley’s have not only seen, but have played an active part in changes to Rogers County. Through the Conservation District many conservation practices have been implemented and through the Education Reserve many education programs have been delivered. Thanks to Mr. Fraley and the other devoted board members, Rogers County Conservation District is always out in front in everything we do.
