On a day in mid February with the temperatures reaching into the 70’s it hard
not to think of spring. However, around the Reserve the true signs of Spring are
the voices of students enjoying Nature while learning its importance. This year
the two went hand in hand when second graders from Key Elementary. came to the
Reserve. While the temperatures may still dip below freezing and more snow may
fall postponing Spring for many people, the frequency of classes at the Reserve
will only increase from here.
Should you be one of the many classes already scheduled to come visit us, we
look forward to seeing you. However, if you have not scheduled a Spring trip to
the Reserve, check the “Calendar”,
there are still some available dates. Of course if you are one of the many that
visit us without a group of eager learners, we look forward to seeing you as
well. Just remember that the thundering sound of footsteps you hear around the
corner is not a stampede of deer, just a large group of youngsters eager to
learn about and enjoy the Reserve.
