Nest Boxes

Spring time is upon us no matter what the weather says. The birds know that spring time is here and they are starting to build their nests. With the decline of natural nesting site availability, we are once again supplementing with man made nest boxes. When traveling around the Reserve take time to look for the nest boxes and see if you see any activity. However, please remember that it is a FEDERAL offence to tamper with bird nests. So please just look. We will be monitoring the nest boxes 3 times a week during nesting season to keep up with who is doing what and where. If you are interested in assisting with the monitoring, just ask and we may have a few boxes you could monitor.
