STRIVING TO CONSERVE NATURAL RESOURCES THROUGH EDUCATION AND PRACTICES
The staff and board of Rogers County Conservation District would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Brown from Grissom Elementary. Mrs. Brown was awarded the “OACD/Chesapeake Energy Outstanding Conservation Educator Award" for 2006 representing the 1st Congressional District. Mrs. Brown teaches 5th grade in Tulsa, and brings her students to the Reserve to further their understanding of how Natural Resources are used, protected, and fit into their everyday lives. Mrs. Brown was presented her award at the State Capital on March 13th along with the other recipients from across the state.
